Jessica Palmeri
Veterinarian
Dr. Jessica Palmeri was born in the Cayman Islands but has called New York home for most of her life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, she knew from an early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Jess even created PowerPoint presentations to persuade her parents to add “just one more” pet to their family.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Before pursuing veterinary school, Jess completed a year-long research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where she developed a passion for scientific discovery. While she loved research, Jess realized that her greatest fulfillment came from building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in clinical veterinary medicine.
Jess graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026 with distinction. She enjoys the variety of general practice and the opportunity to care for pets both medically and surgically. Her professional interests include preventative care, behavioral medicine, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Jess enjoys hiking and backpacking, cooking, and listening to music. She is excited to begin her career at County Line and looks forward to getting to know you and your pets!
